I am looking for a way to upload csv or txt data containing the fields required to populate the calender module so that one could create all the records of events needed on a local computer and when ready export it to a csv format and thru an upload module routine upload the event table as a csv file to the live database replacing the existing table on the live database via using a web based upload module.

Have you guys heard of such a thing or know how to create such a module to make life easier for the person needing to upload multiple events in one step opposed to adding each event individually one at a time thanks

I don't know of any import tools offhand, but it'd be worth looking to see if the Events module supports IPortable, meaning you can import/export content in an XML file.

If not you could always just setup a DTS task that would run the import for you, or pay a third party developer to write the import functionality for you.
