I have found that I can not recieve new registration emails on a Hotmail or Yahoo account....only my domain name accounts.....is there a setting to filter out those types of email providers?

Also I have found when I do get a registration email, clicking on the verification link, when it posts back the Verification code is not automatically populated, have to copy from my email.....

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the help

Mark

The missing e-mails may relate to your web host.  Check with them to be sure that they are not black listed by Hotmail or Yahoo, and to verify that the mail server actually received and relayed the e-mail.  This is a disturbing trend and it is getting worse, as I just received notification today that one of my web hosts are going to stop forward e-mail to those providers and GMail.

Hi

I have the same problem.
I' am not sure if it is a web server problem or DNN problem.
My web host is still busy to figuring out what the problem is.
They even have written a script to checkout  ( no answer so far).

You can read my post here

Maybe it is more a issue in DNN ?

The fact that e-mails from some domains go through, and others do not, would not lead me to believe that this is an issue with DNN.  There is no code (that I know of) that filters e-mails and adjusts logic for specific domains.

Let us know what the final verdict is with your web host(s).  I would imagine that they are likely getting blacklisted.  (Hope not though.)
