I work for a firm which sells SharePoint web parts and we are in the process of implementing a new web site using DNN. We are struggling with how to implement help for our products on our new web site. The basic problem is that I can't see how to edit the help offline using an HTML editor (we now use MS Front Page) and then FTP it into our DNN site without having to go to the RTE and effectively redo the work. Has anyone else tackled and hopefully solved this problem?

Thanks for any help or suggestions in advance.

Cheers, Don Doss

Which help are you talking about - online help using Help module or module help, which is included in the resource files and can be edited using the language editor?

Sebastian,

I'm talking about online help using the help module. We need to have manuals and FAQs on our site for the users of our software.

Cheers, Don

The Online Help uses the RTE only.  You cant FTP files to it.  What you can do is use Word and use the Word Cleaner to paste it in.  the system was designed to be used online only.
