Hi John,
I had no problem up until the wiki module,
And even in the wiki module i checked that all the other fields on the table dbo.Wiki_Topic the Content and Cache columns are correct, the problem is only on the Name column.
I checked the process again, and I found that the corruption for the string actually happens before the record is even written to the DB, it accurse when I click the edit link of a page with a Hebrew title. At that point the title is replaced with gibberish.
at that point nothing is writen  to the DB, so it is not DB related, something after the edit post, changes the letters.

Hi John
I check what you said a bought encode and decode.
I downloaded the source, and change the functions of the DecodeTitle and EncodeTitle in WWWikiDB.vb, what I actuly did is deleted the entire function code, and wrote on line of code: like so …

Public Shared Function EncodeTitle(ByVal val As String) As String
Return System.Web.HttpUtility.UrlEncode(val)
End Function

Public Shared Function DecodeTitle(ByVal val As String) As String
      Return System.Web.HttpUtility.UrlDecode(val)
End Function

For now it seems to solve the language problem, although I am not sure what problem could arise because of this change.

Hi Hod

I'll have a look at the possible implications of this change but I don't think it should be too major.
Do you have a live link to the changes you've made to the wiki?

The only implication that I can currently see is that this seems to mess up the URL re-writer.

Chris do you know why this would be the case?
