Mike,

You mentioned somewhere here, sometime ago (I can't find it now) that you are using some kind of a  script for that (logging to AD without entering domain name) - could you share some details ?

I modified my DNN 4.5.5 code to strip out doman name accordingly to this post, but now I need update to 4.6/4.7. It is quite urgent and only thing that holds me back is this 'domain'  thing...

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/89/threadid/60815/scope/posts/Default.aspx except the script now has to used in DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/login.ascx.

I've updated that thread to reflect my changes to 4.6.

John, they're looking to not have users enter Domain\Username when they login. You code still requires that doesn't it?

No.  The username is stored without the Domain so they are just logging in with their username.

Lukasz mentioned that he had made the modifications I had posted in an earlier version of DNN but that he was in need of some closure on this issue for the latest build.  Since Will Gillen is in a single Domain environment, this change would also benefit him as well.

John, I was doing some other testing last night and you still have to have the entry as Domain\Username when manually logging in. I'll look into it further when I've gotten around the current issue I'm working on.
