Precisely.  Given that other people were creating new threads, I just wanted to see if the problem was on my end or an account issue, so I created the xxxTerpxxx account to post the problem (no response to emails sent to DNN webmaster account), then unregistered it.

I'd be interested in seeing some click stats on these banners. Are they really generating serious revenue from the login page? Perhaps that's why the cookies expire every day and we are forced back to the page to enter our account information?

Hell, I would pay $9.95/year to get a longer cookie and to not have to clear the SSL message each and every time I frequent the forums...and the ability to create threads.
