Hi all.  I'm developing module on DNN 4.6.2 using C# 2005. I have encoutered a problem as the code below:

.......
            MiniHRController _miniHRController = new MiniHRController();
            //
            List<MiniHRInfo> empList;
            empList = _miniHRController.MyModule_GetEmployeeAll(ModuleId);
.........

When run on DNN it raises an error:  "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
I'm a newbie. Let help me!

Thanks and Best  Regards!

In order to resolve this issue you have to debug the module. I think the problem is in the controller. It may be returning Null which generated the error. Place a breakpoint at the line "empList = _miniHRController.MyModule_GetEmployeeAll(ModuleId);" and place one in the controller at "MyModule_GetEmployeeAll". Step through it and you will get more details about the error.
