Unfortunatly no, this has to be fixed by code, and it is fixed in the next release as I saw in the tracker, but untill the next release is available, you have to do it by code.
Check out this link http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=6731&PROJID=2 it is talking about this problem and how to fix it.

It seems that it can be hidden at previous versions.

Why does offical DNN decide to make it fixed in the code?
