I use camstudio (A free knockoff of Camtasia) and I simply convert to flash and use their html file that is created for online viewing and zip it up and use the documents module for download.

Hey Mitch, I have seen that one, and even used it very briefly once.  How would you compare it to Camtasia?  I have yet to completely dig into its features.

I've been using Camstudio a lot lately. It's special in the way it lets you grab a region that moves with your mouse. It's best for making voiceover videos rather than ones where you put text labels into the screens. I've had excellent results.. but am also wondering about the best way to catalogue and display the clips.. partly because I don't want to turn my 100Mb portal into a 1000Mb one just with a couple of dozen videos. I'd have to think of another way to backup if the portal was that big.

Apart from that, there are loads of cool ways to manage the videos directly within a DNN site.. XiaoQi's Ultra Flash Gallery, Bizmodule's Ultra Video Gallery, Mandeep's new Live Content or his old Live Videos.. and there are several other roughly similar ones on Snowcovered.
