Confirmed!

Yes, i'm pretty sure, that i clicked the pencil, but the meta-refresh still accours.

My only solution right now was creating a new page with new content, changing the setting in Admin-Site Settings and delete the old splash page. Not such an issue but cosmetically not nice. To be diplomatic...

Interesting.  I have not run into that before.

The workaround for preventing the meta-refresh used to be to click the stop button on the browser.  However, I have not tried this with the most recent versions of IE or FF.

With IE7 you can click until your finger are bleeding.....refresh happens.Thats pretty annoying.

LOL, I thought I was the only one with this problem.  So you basically have 5 seconds to click on SETTINGS, expand advanced, highlight and delete enough of the code to where it at least errors AND hit update.

Took me about 10 tries....now it is set to 8 seconds before the refresh.  Much easier

Hi,

I used the extra skin for the splash page (which is showing a Flash movie), and then assigned that skin to my splash page, and this works fine ... on my development machine. The moment I port my solution to the test server though, I get a white screen. Could this be due to the fact that de testserver has a domain of this form http://www.yourdomain.com:8080 ?

I'm just wondering, the strange thing is that when I'm logged in, I get to see the splash page with the flash movie, but from the moment that I'm not logged in, I just get a white screen.

Greetings,

Anthony
