This forum is indeed not sending notifications. So I have to check periodically.

Rob, I agree it is a little intrusive to auto-add the module to all pages, but my intention is to enable an extra “page settings” area dedicated for mobile usage. Since I don’t want to modify the ControlPanel and add “Mobile Settings” entry there, not do I want to add an extra entry to the Admin menu, I decided to do it through this module.
This way I wont touch the core. It will be just an icon, and invisible in preview or browse mode. And is actually using “Display Module On All Pages “ option. It just check it itself. The module also have a mechanism to prevent adding it twice.
The httpmodule will know early in the page request that the module is present to the requested page and will do all necessary actions to prepare that page for mobile context.

Carlos,  I was aware of the earlier support for mobile in Dotnetnuke and IBuySpy but not familiar with details. As about ASP.NET mobile controls, I studied them a lot but abandoned the idea of using for now because I would need to support only DNN modules written with ASP.NET mobile controls. I am interested though in the source code of DNN 1.01. I’ll write you in private.

Thanks again for your comments,
Marian Dumitrascu

I love it.  Great work.

However, I tested my site www.cchiv.com on my Motorola Q which has windows mobile 5 and it goes to the full page instead of the mobile page.

May be your Motorola browser disguises itself as IE7 on Vista. :)
