One thing for people to note is if you go the route that Mike did and update this information directly in the database it can take a while for it to actually update on your site due to DNN Caching.

Thanks for the info in this thread. It led me to a solution.

Although, the path that worked for me was:

Login as admin or host

Admin> site settings > advanced settings> other settings

Btw… I am surprised that the copyright year does not update automatically?
