Hi Pavel,

The sources of the SkinObjects are in the Store source package (project DotNetNuke.Store.SkinObjects), but you have to install (like all other modules: Host > Modules) the skinobjects to avoid errors at build time. The Store SkinObjects use a separate package because the release tracker can't manage skinobjects.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Grilles,

Could you please send me a copy of Store_02.01.00_Source.zip to prutus@gmail.com due to i couldn't find them (install and source are the same without *.cs files)?

Very much appreciate it. Why it is so difficult to check this project in to the source control?

Pavel.

Hi Pavel,

The PA is NOT the same as the Source version. The PA size is 476K and the Source is 1047K! The CS files are inside the file DNN_Store_Source.resources, this is common to create a zip file and name it .resources under DNN. The .resources file is automaticaly unziped in the module folder by the DNN installer. This is the more simple way to install numerous files. If you try to install the sources BY HAND, you will loose hours and probably days then complain because you will not be able to make it work! ONE AGAIN PLEASE, follow my guidelines from the first page of this post to install the source version!

Hi

I was able to get every thing working right up to the point of not having VS2005.    I only have the express additions on my home computer.  What is the work around for this you describe?

Thanks in advance for your help.

John G.

Hi John,

There is no workaround or trick, you can use VS 2005/2008 Pro OR use the free version Visual Studio Web Express 2008 with Service Pack 1 (SP1). Only the last free version (2008) can create/modify WAP projects.
