I agree here with Giles points. I went thorugh the whole process a number of times before following the EXACT setup procedure on Giles post (1st post on this thread)

If you follow the setup procedure exactly as detailed, then you will end up with a SEPARATE visual studio project for developing the store module(s).
however, it is integrated in to the DotNetNuke_2 App / website. (I believe i am right in saying this, as it was a couple of years ago since i set this up)

Once you have got the project up and running it is very satisfying because you have access to the all the source code of course;
and can develop it however you want.

Now that there appears to be a fix with the paypal gateway, i myself would certainly consider using the Core DNN Store again as an excellent starting place to develop and extend an online store.

Hi Tito,

This is a bug already discused in the Store forum and at Codeplex Issues. This will be corrected in the next version, in the meanwhile please use the Store Admin module to manage your products.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Gilles,
 I strictly followed your instruction and have tried 3 times. Each time I got the "DotNetNuke.Store.Providers.Address.DefaultAddressProvider" not available. When I tried to add project, I got the error: The local IIS URL
http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2/Desktop... specified for Web project Dotnetnuke.store.Providers.Address.DefaultAddressProvider has nt been configured. When I tried to compile the solution,  I got several errors such as
 Error 1 The type or namespace name 'Entities' does not exist in the namespace 'DotNetNuke' (are you missing an assembly reference?) C:\DotNetNuke_2\Website\DesktopModules\Store\Providers\ProviderControllerBase.cs 22 18 DotNetNuke.Store.Providers

Thanks
HY
