I still cannot reproduce your error. Just to make sure, I

  1. installed a fresh DNN 4.7.0
  2. installed the Italian language pack 4.6.2, downloaded from the DNN Language Packs page
  3. added a new page
  4. installed the Events module (3.3.8) from the Host > Module Definitions page
  5. added a new instance of the Events module

and got an empty monthly Events calendar, without an error. Adding a new event also went fine.

As you run IIS5, you should have XP as operating system. Or is it Vista? The rest of your config sounds like mine: XP Pro, IIS5, SQL Express, .NET 2.0.50727.42.

So I can only guess where the reason for your error could be:

  • Do you get that error also with other modules, that use a localized date format, e .g. Documents, Forum or Repository?
  • Have you changed something in the configuration of the portal, host, IIS or .NET framework , that's related to the date/time format?
  • Have you installed any third party modules?

Sorry that I cannot really help!

Ok... let me explain step-by step what i've done...

  1. installed a fresh DNN 4.7.0 using DNN source pack as explained in http://blog.falafel.com/2006/09/22/InstallingDotNetNuke40OnYourLocalMachine.aspx
  2. installed the Italian language pack 4.6.2, downloaded from the DNN Language Packs page
  3. added a new page
  4. installed the Events module (3.3.8) from the Host > Module Definitions page
  5. added a new instance of the Events module
  6. got that error in italian version only... :(
  7. tryed to install Intelli_Calendar 4.2... same trouble :(... and same trouble with 3.2 :(

My machine is an AMD x64 3200+ with Win XP pro 32bit... IIS5, SQL Express, .NET 2.0.50727.42.

I don't have changed any related parameter to the date format... (I'm sure about this... since I use to track every developmet setting in order to overcome on this possibility)

I've another problem with standard guide module.

(I cant add any category... since... in my DNN module it placed just blanks where shold be placed the manage category button ) ... but that issue seems NOT to be related with this problem... I suppose.

I hope this could help in anyway.

However thankyou for the time spent to help me. :)

PS Now I try to install a fresh DNN portal...in order to understand if it is a DNN instance error. Then I let you know. :)
