I seem to be having a similar problem. On both of my 4.7.0 portals, if I click "Browse Server", I just get a popup window that says "Current Folder: /" and then a blank white screen. Both are installed to a "/portal" subfolder. One was a clean install to 4.7.0, and the other was an upgrade from 3.3.7. I never had this problem while running 3.3.7.

I can go into the custom editor settings and change the Image Folder setting from "<Use Default>" to "Root", but it seems that I have to do this for every new module. Is there a universal setting for this?

Or, can someone post the fix that came from locopon?

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

what is your virtual directory name?

Also, have your tried giving the correct permissions to the folder?

The virtual directory name is /portal, and it is hosted on GoDaddy. The /Portals subfolder, and all subsequent children have Read, Write and Web permissions, which as far as I know should be sufficient. It has never been a problem for me on previous versions of DNN.

Since this last post I found the way to universally apply the setting to all modules within a portal. So even though the default setting is still an issue, it's an easy enough workaround and I'm satisfied for now.

Thank you for your quick response.

Shawn,

What was your work around?

I have exactly the same problem. When I go to insert an image, I click on "Browse Server," and all I get is the "Image Gallery" with "Current Folder: /" and then a big white space. I have double checked all the permissions. My virtual directory name is /portal (I'm not using GoDaddy). This problem (and others) only appeared after upgrade from DNN 4.3.5.

Thanks,

- Trevor

If your virtual directory name is PORTAL, then your problem is that name.

A fix was created. I will look on how to post it for people having this issue.
