Yep, that is how I need it. Another site that does it would be http://www.wilmingtonnc.gov/.

I don't need to hover over or anything.

So, how does one go about doing this then? Can I get the .xml file or an example?

Here's my code in the XML.

[MLMENU]

Display
Vertical

Usearrows

userootbreadcrumbarrow
False

rootonly
false

level
root

forcefullmenulist
true

forcedownlevel

fontsize

I've been messing with this for day now and so far I can only get it to list ALL the times ALL the time.

I need it to show only the items under the currently selected menu. How is this possible?

Maybe I'm not explaining correctly, what I am looking for is pretty basic functionality. I downloaded the inventua menu system and it does what I need it to do when I check the " Show current sub-tree only: " option.

Basically, I am looking for a menu system that shows ALL root leftnav items on all pages. Ex:

Root1
Root2
Root3

When the user clicks on Root2, they are taken to a page with the following menu

Root1
Root2
Submenu1
Submenu2
Root3

I can probably get this to work with inventua but I am surprised this isn't a basic required functionality of the solpartmenu system.

I don't need the ability to hover or anything like that.

You have explained yourself very well, and Salaro is correct - This effect at this stage cannot be done with the standard SolPart Menu installed.

The idea of using things like Telerik & Component Art are options that you can add on to your DotNetNuke site. Every menu has it's behaviours and limitations and yes the Inventua menu is great - and I use it too. It is also installed as a module / skinobject so you can manage per page or per skin.

You have chosen the correct solution for your project unless you look at the other menus mentioned to give you the dropdown panel bar effect.
