Hi

Have a nuke for the company I work for where customers can get some documents and other small things. What I am after is that I wan't  the companys main webbpage to be allowed as only referer-site. In other words so that you must pass the website to get to the nuke.

DNN logs the referersites in the db, so it gets them at start, so a little something that checks if referer has a certain value maybe?

Only ideas, that's why I'm asking.

Anyone done this on their nuke?

You could do it with a javascript in your skin:
if(document.referrer != "some-url") document.location.href="another-url";

Both worked and did not work.

Problem is that wherever I put it, skin, default.aspx... It runs everytime I change page in the nuke. Wich means, I can access startpage. But if I login or change page I get thrown out. I can solve this if I add the nukes adress as accepted referer. But then I loose the idea with the script to start with. Then I would just have stopped other sites from linking to it.

Hhmmm, I had in mind (but didn't say) to create an extra skin for the pages you want to protect. Other solution: put the javascript in a text/HTML module (source view).
