Hello,  this is my first DNN install.  I have the site set up, but some modules give an error when I try to add a new item. This is the case for the Events module - when i try to add a new event i get

An error has occurred.
Error: Edit Event is currently unavailable.

However, i can add Announcements, FAQS, and some others.  I cannot add Events or Help.  i assume that the problem may be with the connection strings, but I have them set identically (cut and paste).  What connection string does teh events module use (new one or legacy backward compatible one)?  How can I eneble a more descriptive error?  Do you have any other suggestions?

What do you mean by "connection strings" in plural?  There is only one for the whole DNN installation for all the basic modules.

Thanks for the suggestions - but no luck yet.  Here's the thing: the Events viewer doesn't have an entry for an error related to this.  I see events for login successes and failures.  I see events for email password failures.  But no events for the Events module. 

As far as there being 2 connection strings, my understanding is that the DNN web.config has two - a current one and one for older modules.  All of the docs, install instructions, and 3rd party books mention two.
