I established two folders under the root in the file management system. I set the permissions so people must be registered and logged in to access any file in these folders. However, now that I did this, when I click on the + sign to the left of the root, it just turns and churns without ever, and I mean ever showing the two folders I installed. I know they are there in the database because I'm able to upload files to them and see them when lgged in as I'm suppose to. The question is, why is my file management system not showing me these two folders? It did the first time I installed them, then nada. Thanks,

did you try to recursively syncronise database and file system (in top left corner of file manager)?

Yes, only on mine it's top right.  I selected the recursive feature and then I clicked on synchronize files link.  Nothing changes.  I have no way of telling where I left off on my inputting of files.  I'll also say that when that file manager page loads, it says "error on page" at bottom in the browser's status bar, but that may or may not be significant.  Any ideas on why I'm having this kind of trouble?  Thanks so much.
