I'm new with DNN and I face the following problem with DNN 4.6.2.

I need to add FCKEditor instance to a page. I create MyForm.ascx, then I add DotNetNuke.FckHtmlEditorProvider.dll to VS2005 toolbar. Then I drag the item to my form. I get the following error: "Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=3.3.6.41880".

On the other hand I can easily add a new FCK control using the original FCK library: FredCK.FCKeditorV2.dll.

What is my mistake?

Thank you!

There is no control to be used from the VS toolbox. The editor was created as a user control, so you must use it as it is used in the text/HTML module. Please use this module as an example.

You can use the original editor wrapper created by the FCK team, but it is not an editor provider. By using an editor provider means that the system can switch the editor (FCK, FTB, etc) and your module will continue to use the new selected editor.
