I removed masking from my godaddy.com $9 domain name that I can only forward and mask.

Now it forwards to my site, but there's no masking (i.e. the IP shows as the browser URL not the domain name).

At least now I can login again. Masking took no time to propogate through the internet, it appeared quickly changed for me.

Time to upgrade my domain name account. I wonder if godaddy.com will be "why we are $o low" at this point...

EDIT: Now I believe this is a DNS issue. I am going to change my DNS management from godaddy.com. I will learn more about how DNS entries work and why DNN gets lost when it encounters a masked IP. I would imagine that working with the DNS entry itself (beyond the quick-n-dirty method apparently used by godaddy.com) will be the correct way to have this masking of forwarded domain names problem solved. I would imagine that the DNS entry can be edited to show my domain name for my IP and not use masking at all.

goMomma.com, perhaps?

in order to use masked domain with IE 6, you will have to add the domain to the allowed ones for cross browser cookies in your Internet Explorer settings.

That's one of the first things I thought of and changed but unfortunatly (I guess) my account on brinkster is not masked my A record in the DNS points right to my site.

Jon Henning was looking at things on my site and was able to reproduce the problem at will.  I've not heard anything else about it though.
