Does anyone know if there is a way to automatically assign a new user to a security role based on a selection they make during registration?  ie. a new user would check 'individual' or 'business' during the portal registration process.  This would put them into one of two security role groups and serve that user up the pages specified for either an 'individual' or a 'business.'

I know I can manually set this up to work, but I didn't know if there is a way to automate this my allowing the user to check their role during registration.

Thanks!

Jeremy

Jeremy,

the only chance I see is using a RVSP code AFTER registration.

Third party modules such as Datasprings Dynamic Login will do this for you.

There is also the UCanUse UserAttributes module which can do this I think
