I have a question, I would like to know if exists a FolderPath saved in Folders table like NULL (not '').

I'm working in an OracleDataprovider and having problems with GetFolderPermissionsByFolderPath procedure.

Oracle don't discriminate null and blank like value.

thanks,

Gelder

I was in my folders table the other day and noted that PortalID's came in (NULL) and FolderPath's came in blank.

The default portal is (NULL) and the root folder of each portal is blank.

That's about all I know about it.

Hi Rob, Thanks for answer me.

I reviewed my dnn versión 4.7 on sql server and i could see the same. I don't know if are there any case which folderpath is NULL? If somebody knows that situation please tellme.....I'll put out the filter on the where clause (folderpath is null and permissioncode='SYSTEM_FOLDER') on my dnn in oracle.

Bye

AFAIK folderpath cannot be Null, it needs to be blank, though the dataprovider convert Null into blank when reading the data.

But what happens when the dataprovider is storing the folderpath.....sometime save folderpath like null?

if dnn don't user null for folderpath, why does it use the where clause "folderpath is null and .... "?....i think it's not necesary.

Saludos

Gelder
