Hi All,

I understand that DNN cannot run on Mono.... Why is this? Does the latest version of Mono not support ASP.NET2.... I am sure it does.

From my inexperienced viewpoint I could see how a Mono DNN/MySQL stack may be  better and more consistent than a Mainsoft solution and cheaper. I await to be corrected..

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Mono is not exactly .Net 2.0 and there are of course mayor tweaks necessary. Note as well, that you will need MYSQL dataproviders for the core framework and each module if you want to use mySQL as your database.
