Does anyone know how to validate the email address in the User Profile such as requiring a specific email to be (@mycompany.com). I don't want people being able to put their personal email addresses in such as gmail, yahoo, etc.

Also, is it possible to auto-format the email to be all lowercase such as using the CSS 'text-transform:lowercase'. I cannot find the source page to make this happen. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Ok, disregard the email validation part, I figured out how to do this. I still can't figure out how to format it in all lowercase though. Any suggestions?

AFAIK there is no formatting option

Sebastian,

Thank you for the response. I was searching around in the files and hoping to find the source file for the 'Manage User Credentials' page. I was thinking if I can edit that form field then I can just add the style="text-transform:lowercase" to it. Is this a logical thought? No big deal if I can't do it, I was just being wishful. Again thank you.

How about using the 'Email Address Validation' option under 'User Settings'.  There is a regular express there that you can use to require something specific like the company domain.  Here's what I did:

\b[a-zA-Z0-9._%\-+']+@mycompany.com\b

This would require an email address to end in @mycompany.com

I'm just starting to configure my site and wanted to do the same thing as you suggested.  Let me know how it works for you.
