Hello,

I'd like to customize the user registration, in order to:

  • Divide registered users in two groups.
  • Each group should inherit the basic "registered user" properties, and extend it with some specific attributes;
  • Users must choose one of this group at registration time... it will never change.

How I could do that?

You'll need a module for this... one that can add users to roles based on questions duering sign-up. Check out Datasprings Dynamic Registration and also a free one just posted in the announcements forum. I haven't checked that but it certainly looks the stuff... I think the site is nzmk.com
