Just wondering if anyone has a rough date for DNN 4.7.1 or 4.8 (seems likely that 4.8 will be the next release)? I would like the fixes for friendly URLs that are in Gemini before launching a new site for a client if possible and just need an approximate date.  Thanks

What issues are being fixed in friendly URLs??

I looked in the public part of Gemini for friendly URLs and did not see a whole lot except withdrawn/duplicate issues.

Thank you, Tom

Well, in start, i have doubts about DNN, because it has a lot of bugs when used with Turkish Locale. However it is getting better with every new release.

Friendly URLs

Turkish Flag issue

FTB Image Path problem

File Manager Bug

And a lot of bugs that i don't remember now is already fixed or being fixed.

I mean DNN Community is a cool place where we can suggest things and find solutions.

I love DNN.  I hope new releases won't bring new problems :)

I was referring to the friendly URL fixes at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx?PROJID=2. Thanks for everyone’s replies, great to know that 4.8 will be released in the next few weeks.

Focus of  DNN 4.8.0 is supplying support for VS2008 and IIS 7, nearly all other items on the road map are bug fixes.

December is 1/2 way through... Do you have a more precise idea on the release date for 4.8.0 ? Should I wait for 4.8, or can I get starts with 4.7 and VS2008 ?

Thanks
