I'm having the same problem.  I made the MS Ajax example work and then I tried to port it over to DNN but no matter what i do, i get Method 500 errors.  I've found articles about what has to be in web.config and how to test my web service but no matter what, i get Method Error 500.

Anyone know why this is happening?
