Hi,

The full code for the blog module is contained in the Desktop module directory, however when I build the solution, the Blog module is not available in the Control Panel.  There is no option for me to uninstall the blog module and I can't just delete the files because there is already corresponding code in the database.  Forgive me if this is a simple solution, I'm a newbie.  What should I do in order to make the blog module available in the control panel?

Altein

Hi,

Thanks for the response.  Before I create a PA for it, don't I have to delete the code that's already in the intallation (i.e. all the code in my installation in the DesktopModule subdirectories? delete the schema and code for the database?

Thanks again,
altein

you do not need to delete anything to create the package (however, as a test you should uninstall and check, that everything is deleted before re-installing it). Be aware, that you need to write the sql scripts by hand to install and uninstall your database objects.
