I've been working on a custom authentication provider and need to have the Logoff.ascx control displayed so that I can add functionality when the user logs off. I built a provider from a copy of the DNN provider, but Logoff.ascx is never displayed (Login.ascx is displayed and I can login correctly with my custom provider).

The LiveID provider has and Logoff.ascx, but I cannot figure out why it's displayed for this provider and not my own provider. I've compared the .dnn installer scripts and they are comparable (pretty much all they do is describe the provider and specify where files go). I even made a copy of the LiveID provider (everything but the dll) and got it working. I noticed that when I went to logout, the original Logoff.ascx was being displayed and not my copied one (I placed a text marker on it to see the difference), despite having logged in why my copied provider (it had the text marker on it).

Does anyone know how DNN knows to display the Logoff.ascx? I'm unable to look at all of the source from the LiveID provider because the source download (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=77052&package_id=252999&release_id=555439) includes the binary and not the source of the provider DLL.

So my new question
