I've read up on several newsletter modules and thought I'd ask for opinions on which is the best from people's personal experiences?

Here's what I'm looking for:

Separate module I can stick on a page for visitors to sign up for newsletters and select the one(s) they want from a checklist or something like that.

A newsletter creation module that is simple to use and can be locked down so that only one newsletter group can be selected to send an email to (I don't want my content developers sending email to any other group's members other than their own).

Email recipients muust be able to unsubscribe easily.

Minimal impact on site performance - - running dnn 4.6 on ms server 2003 w/ 4gb ram and mssql - - email lists currently several thousand and expected to grow as much as 20k in future.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks
Mike

I really like DataSpring's opt-in email module; setup a newsletter subscription system in about 30 minutes on my site, and much of that time was spent just going through the numerous settings of Chad's powerful module...opt=in/opt-out on the fly (via. email or through the site); track the number of times and by whom the newsletter was read; create different subscriptions and have stored templates for each group...etc, etc, etc.

Yes, the Datasprings module works fine. I have > 20,000 users and send out newsletters each week. The latest version has the possibility to schedule batches and that works really well.

In fact, I love all of their modules and Chad's customer services in unrivaled..."works right out-of-the-box" should be their motto, which is rare for DNN module producers.

I used both Nuke Alert and DataSprings modules (for clients websites) and i can say that DataSprings Opt-in module sounds more friendly to me.
