Hi there,

due to some system admin work, we need to do a massive enforce password change mechanism to our users.  Instead of doing this from the front end System Admin module, we would like to do that from the backend sql.

originally i thought this is a flag/field set in probably aspnet_users table or sth. I looked through aspnet_users, aspnet_Membership, etc.

but still cannot find this flag.

Could someone please let me know where does this flag store (if any) and if not, is there anyway to change a group

of DNN accounts so that next time the users login would enforce them to change password?

Thank you!!

But, can't this be done in the front end, Users page, Force Password Change?

I selected that for a user and they still can't login using our default password and their XP login name, both of which we have already defined.

I also saw a msg saying that a fellow had to reset his site settings.  But, that would require everyone to re-register, wouldn't it?

Anyway, my user who has forgotten her password cannot login.  Also, the bit about emailing her password doesn't work either.
