Hi,

Good Day to all. After looking at my sites on safari, the big issue is that the solpart menu is not displayed in the browser. after a few debbugging i found the code that disables the menu on safari. Which in spmenu.js found under /controls/solpartmenu of your dnn directory. In line 1720 of the spmenu.js there is a code:

if (spm_browserType() == 'safari')    //Safari Hack
    var Document = null;

without this code the issue on safari for solpart menu would be resolved.

My questions are:

1. what is the purpose of this lines of code?

2. Is there a bigger issue with DNN when using safari?

Thanks

Did you ever find a resolution to this issue?  Right now my Solpartmenu is not displaying on Safari on the Mac.

Thanks,

Craig

Actually, this block of code fixed my menus in Safari. Originally it was for Safari 2.X, but continues to work in 3.x, I am currently on an older version of DNN but for what it's worth but I will confirm this fixed the menu problem in my case.
