Hello,
I'm trying to use url tracking (DNN 4.7) for some files and urls I use in a module of mine; such module, in its Edit control, uses an UrlControl to specify data, and correctly saves my urls to the UrlTracking table. Then I generate urls by using Common.Globals.LinkClick(), and apparently all is working fine: I can visit URLs and download files both enabling and disabling tracking and logging.

I verified my urls syntax against the one of the links module for example, and they appear right.

However, nor the tracking (UrlTracking) nor the logging (UrlLog) tables never get updated whan I click on such links. I made a test with the Links module, and for a same file stats are updated.

So, shouldn't an url pointing at Linkclick.aspx automatically let DNN trace the click? Why does linkclick.aspx (the library behind it) correctly allow me to download files and visit urls, but never updates statistics?

Thanks for any help,

AL.
