Is there a way to revert an install of DNN4.6.2 back to an earlier version that was not subject to the maddening FileSecurty permission errors that are plaguing so many installs from v4.5 and later? I've rtfmed the issues up and down this forum and tried many solutions. One worked for a while but now the error is back and no help adjusting IIS file permissions either from the CrystalTech control panel or from native IIS by their support people. I'm tired of hunting for the mismatch that keeps causing this.

I've considered upgrading to 4.7.0, but if it fixed things, the change would likely be temporary. It seems to have the same problem, judging from forum traffic.

I know I can download and install a prev. version's files, but what about the db structure? Will earlier install scripts revert the db back to the right structure? Losing the content in the db is NOT an option.
