Hi,

Well, I kinda have an issue with my page, (not sure if I am alowed to link to it, if not please let me know)
www.nj-epics.com
the search button on the left is not looking right,
so to try to figure out which module I should mess with, i tried to delete both Search Submit and search results (thinking that I would be able to find them in the recycle bin afterwards)
but the search button is still there, and still looking awfull, and now im missing those 2 modules..

I have tried to find the modules and install them again, but I can't find them anywhere (and neither in my recycle bin)

can anyone point me out to where I can find those modules again..?
and if anyone can help me to find out how to change the looks of the search thing..??

thanks..

Best Regards
Sean Nielsen

It's a skin object. In your skin.ascx file, look for this and add the blue bits:

< dnn:SEARCH runat="server" id="dnnSEARCH" showWeb="False" showSite="False" />

I'm not sure how you can restore the items you've deleted.. I can't see them packaged on their own in the original install files. You should probably restore from backup.

Hello

I have a similar issue with DNN 4.7(install).

After installation, i deleted the SearchResults module(instance only) as it was listed as one of the options  in the menu.

I rebuilded the menu and added my own web pages(menu)

Since then, the search on entire site is not working.

Please let me kow if there is any fix

Thansk much

I believe you just need to create a new page called "Search Results" to get the results working again.

Thank You, SIR. I restored the deleted page(search results)  from the DNN Recycle Bin option.

I can now take rest of the Year Off

regards
