For reasons I won't go into, we'd like to use something like DNN to manage our content, but not display it.  Is it possible to use DNN to create new content for a site, and then use a legacy site to do the actual display?

Perhaps a better way of asking the question:

If I develop a bunch of user controls for a DNN module, can I reuse some of/all those controls in a "normal" ASP.NET page?  Right now it looks like all the code for a module is placed in the same web directory structure as the rest of the portals/host code.  Obviously I'd rather have a separate project for each module so that they are reusable and self contained.

Anybody done this?

Sure, all you would need to do is write your controls that display to pull the data from the DNN database, you won't even have to use the DNN methods to do so. It's all data, how you use it is up to you.
