I find it annoying that when I try to search the forums on this site I often get a timeout critical error.  Not a very good advertisment for the DNN product when I have to go out to google to search into the DNN forums.  'Sup with that?

Also, is there any way that I can be notified when my posts are replied to?  I currently have to remember to search (often have the above stated problem when I do) for my posts to check for responses.  I check off "Notification" when I submit, but as far as I can tell, that is just to notify me when the message has been posted to the list.

Thanks

Unfortunately the search and notifications don't appear to be working too well in the forums. For checking replies to my posts I always check the "my posts" link in the forums navigation, that's the easiest way to see posts.

GOLDEN!  Thanks Chris - I had missed the "myPosts" link - that makes follow up on posts much easier!

I also get many time out errors when searching the forums. I also am not a fan of having to pick the date range and clicking the forum box by default. It seems to me that by default it should search everything and then you could add other parameters for an 'Advanced search.' I also check notification and receive none. Just going to 'My Posts' section seems better.

Thanks,

The notification problem is a known bug that will be fixed in the next release.  They look to be almost done with the changes, but I have no idea when they will be submitting the module to the Release Tracker process.
