How can I restart the application if I can't access it?  That screen is all i get.

However, I do believe it is the same error as this shows up in my browser address bar:

http://www.mysite.com/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

Thank you. I didn't even realize that the AD provider section was uncommented.

Anyone with the same problem, just comment out the following section in the webconfig file.

<add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory"/>

I still have another issue which is unrelated so I will start a new thread.

Had a problem with my test site too - a few modules including the UsersOnline module failed to load, and the error was related to stored procedures not being found ??!?

anyone else had this ?

I was upgrading from 4.6.2 to 4.8, and used the Install package
