Hello all,

I have a customer that would like to display their latest blog entry (Title, Date, and first 300 chars of body text) and a link to their blog tab on the Home page of their site.  I know I could place just the Recent Blog Entries module on the Home page, and set the number of entries to 1, but when users click on "more...", it will open the full blog entry inline, within that Recent Blog Entry module on the Home page.  I would like the "more..." link, or the hypertext blog Title to take them to their main Blog page, where this blog entry would be listed at the top, among the other blog entries.  Can this be done, or should I just make my own custom module/aspx file?

Thank you so much,
Jnuw

I would use an RSS module for the purpose.

Yep, Robax is correct.

Just get the RSS feed from the blog in question and set up the "News (RSS)" module to read from it.
Also, in order to link to the blog page from the home page, you will need to modify the XSL (XML Stylesheet) a bit.

Hope this helps.
