This probably is a simple one to answer, but it annoied me for a while by now.

How can i actually localize the page names? ie when i choose english it's displayed as english and when i choose another language it is displayed as another language. :D

Thanks in advance...

Well... the simple answer you can find in this post: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/78/threadid/5550/scope/posts/Default.aspx

The truth is... its not very simple. Out of the box DNN only supports static localization, which means only the admin user interface supports multiple languages. Page names, titles, module content, module titles.. thats all dynamic localization, ie. its all content that is saved in the DB.

I have a page name localization module which lets you localize page name, uses no core modification, but needs specific skin objects to work. Read more about it here: http://www.apollo-software.nl/DotNetNuke/Modules/PageLocalization/tabid/81/Default.aspx

An other solution is to make use of a small modification of the core, which is done by Locopon. The latest version of his DSLocalizator includes an install / uninstall option for his core modification. Read more about it here: http://dnn.tiendaboliviana.com/Web/

Cheers,

Erik
