Hi,

I am looking for advice.

I am setting up a DNN site for a columnist who would like two things:  First I would like to be able to feature the most recent column on the main page.  Then I would like the older columns to be searchable.

Before I go ahead and construct a car when what I really needed was a boat, could someone offer a "best practice" method for structuring this kind of thing?

Here is what I've been playing with:  I was going to create a Newsfeed and have the columns created as RSS files.

Anyone know of a good tutorial that would explain how to do this.  And/or has anyone already gone through the rigors of setting up a similar searchable database using RSS?

Thanks and Happy New Year.

Mark.

Mark,

I would look at using either the blog module or maybe Ventrian News Articles (available at http://www.ventrian.com)
