hi  matt. Thanks for  give  your  code.

ok but " RealDropzone.RDSettings.GetSetting " will return From_address and other string. it's great but how this method works ? means it's defination?

and when ever i use From name like "admin@portal.com" and i configure my smtp with account name "sahil.s2s@gmail.com" and receiving mail has

default smtpuername but mail have to display " admin@portal.com " this but it can't.

// i use following custom function  for sending mail.

//pink are my variables

  public void SendMail(string From,string To,string Subject,string Message)
        {
            //Send mail Form DotnetNuke Class
            DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(From, To, "", "", DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.MailPriority.High, Subject, DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.MailFormat.Html, System.Text.Encoding.UTF8, Message, "", HostSettings.GetHostSetting("SMTPServer"), "1", HostSettings.GetHostSetting("SMTPUsername"), HostSettings.GetHostSetting("SMTPPassword"), true);
        }

so tell me for custom From_Address what will i have to do?

bye. Matt. And thank's man.

"ReplyTo" is used to provide an option, where the sender of the email is the site admin (whose email address will fit to the MX record of the smtp server and not be caught by spam filters) and the user gets the email senders' address, when hitting "reply to".

in this most simple scenario, you use the sending user's email address as from value. If you want to have more options, use another overload with additional parameters. Pass "" for all SMTP settings, if you want to use HostSettings values.
