I have developed my first modules.  I have four modules working fine except for two minor problems.  First, the modules will only save data to the DNN DB when they are in Edit mode.  I would prefer if I could set the users to View mode.  Also, I would like to hide the View/Edit/Design bar from the users as they don't have any reason to need it that I am aware of.

Are there ways to overcome these two issues?  Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply.  You are going to have to give me a little more detailed instructions.  Sorry.  I cannot set output cache duration for the page to -1 as in
<%@ OutputCache Duration="-1" %>
and I don't know of any parameters in the Host or Admin settings. I searched the forums for cache duration and found your same advice to someone else but I am still not able to figure it out.

Thanks for your help so far.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the setting in web.config or as a page directive that has solved the problem.  Can I get a bit more detailed solution?
