Hey i have few questions,

when i've read the slogan "Open Source" and when i take a deeper look in the folder and see the Folder "Bin" is full with DLL's closed then i have ask me,
what is the point here for an "Open Source Application". With a lot of DLL's are closed that's not an Open Source Framework. For the Development Part,
when i will use the Framework from DNN how can i read all the DLL files and modificate it how i need.

But an closed DLL i can't edit or modificat. So what's the Point when i read open source. In Open Source Application for example in the Languages of PHP
or also Linux, their it's real open souce and you  have the chance for modificat it how you need it.

Now i will know here how i can modificat the DLL's here form DotNetNuke, it's verry intersting for me.

Thanks and kind regards

you can get the source for all dll's except 3rd party Zip and Solpart menu. For the framework source you need to download the source package. For the module sources you need to download the individual source packages and install as modules - be aware, that there are still a number of modules, that require DNN3, ASP.Net and VS2003 to be recompiled or need to be upgraded.
