I'm experiencing the same issue.  DNN 4.6.2 with ssl cert; Admin settings are SSL Enabled and Enforced; SSL and Standard URLs are blank as the cert is domain specific.  Set a page to be secure then can no longer access that page = Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

No events in event viewer.  Hosting company swears everything is set and configured correctly.  Had me clear IE and reboot router and cable modem.  Then SSL seamed to work correctly but then ceased working the next day.  Did all the resetting again to no avail.

Once I click the link to the secured page, I get the 'You are about to view pages over a secure connection.' but then a dead page.

I've even created a new test page with all user visibility with the same result.  I've tried to access the secure pages from several different machines with the same result.

SSL Company assures me that requests are being redirected from https to http default.aspx

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated as I've been unable to find answer after several days of searching.

Per the host and from what I've been able to discover, DNN is redirecting the URL from https to http -- if anyone has any advice I'd sincerely appreciate it.

Dedisoft,

I made a series of changes and now my issue (so far) has gone away.  Of the changes I made, the only one of any possible related value is the following:

In my Admin | User Accounts | User Settings page, the following settings were set to redirect the user to a page flagged as secure:
 Redirect After Login
 Redirect After Registration

Please let me know if this helps you as I would feel better if I can somewhat believe this problem is indeed resolved as I have no choice but to open the site to registration tonight.

Randy,

Thanks for your explanation.

No, this doesn't work for me yet.

I've created a custom login page with a Login module, set it as secured page. I've activated the SSL option on both the host and the website. I've tested with the enforce SSL option too.

I've another pages which must be shown with SSL, they doesn't works.

I've tested specify the Redirect After Login (because users can't register itself), same result (page not found - HTTP 404, URL using http rather than https).

If I adds the "s" to have https, same error. If I force the https to the home page, DNN redirects me on http...

Thanks
