Hi All,

I've done a clean install of 4.8 on my local machine.... pristine db..., and  could not replicate the same error... so something went wrong somewhere between the upgrade from 4.6 to 4. 4.7 to  4.8 at my ISP ....

so is there a "dnn for dummy" procedure to do a clean install of 4.8 at my ISP and preserve the child portal, user and mainly HTML/Text data?

Can is just wipe every thing, keep the database and do a clean install... or is it not that easy?

thank you kindly for any suggestions

Max

Hey, I was getting that same error and after looking under /bin folder I noticed DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.dll and DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.SqlDataProvider.dll.  DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.SqlDataProvider.dll is an old file from a previous version.  Once I deleted it I was able to get into the Host -> Schedule.

To summarize:

Go into your website and look under the /bin folder

Find and delete DotNetNuke.DNNScheduler.SqlDataProvider.dll

Done.
