I've  just downloaded the 4.8.0 sources, unzipped them, opened with vs2005, and tried to execute (F5) to be able to run DNN install wizard.  I get the following compilation error...

I didn’t have the same problem but I did get some compile errors with VS2005 for some modules like RssHandler. I individually built/rebuilt all projects starting with DotNetNuke.HttpModules. Then I built the web site. That seemed to clear up my problems. I still get a bunch of warnings like:
Warning   1   'DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.TokenReplace' is obsolete: 'This class has been deprecated, please use DotNetNuke.Services.Tokens.TokenReplace instead'    C:\Visual Studio Projects\DNNSRC\Library\Components\Localization\TokenReplace.vb   201   69        DotNetNuke.Library

Does anyone know if someone is going to look at these warnings at some point and clean them up? I know they won’t cause a problem but stuff like this makes me nervous. I don’t want to go in and start messing around with core code or the standard modules to get rid of warnings. I don’t understand enough about what is going on in DNN.
