Thank you for your replies. I contacted Salaro.com via email and they told me they will be implementing this type of wholesale skin site with - no - Salaro branding-/price. This way anyone can iframe to the site and have it displayed on their site as if it were their own. This would give your site the appearance that “you” have a library of skins ready to be purchased-installed as soon as the customer selects a skin.  This gives the customer a better feeling since they are working with only your site  for skins and your NOT sending them 20 LINKS to skinning sites saying. .hey customer.. just go surf the web for hours and hours and then send me the link and we can discuss the skin if its ok or not. Most people dont want to "surf" the web and "try" to find what they like, they just want service from you, on your site, make a selection and be done.

And no, there are no sites that do this currently. I only said that to get everyone thinking and to see if it had any interest or not.
Thank you for your comments. We need! Wholesale sites (no branding/prices) these sites could be advertised as basic unbranded links on the public skinning site.

I've jsut run into this issue - is there going to be a long term fix for it? Seems a bit hacky ;)

Timo - is there a way of having an Admin CSS file and a normal CSS file (e.g. call them Index.css and Admin.css and point to each respective skin in the Site Settings or does the skin.css apply to both Admin and portal site setting skins?

 

By add it to the admin skin do you therefore mean inline CSS?

I agree. By having module creators & skin designers having unbranded products would mean that all of us could sell & support their products for them. 

Lots of people selling & supporting = lots of sales & less supporting common problems for the devolpers/designers.

The injecting of DNNAlign center is an annoyance for me also. It seems like there has been no change request made in Gemini however. I added one today:

DNNP-10566 Bug Minor Skinning

Stop adding "DNNAligncenter" class when Admin skin loaded 

If you have comments to make, please make them in the Gemini ticket.
